Support Groups

Helper Cell
The aim of this support group is to offer a forum in which those who live with people affected by haemophilia can discuss all the issues, hopes, fears and facts associated with life together.

Men's Group
HFV’s Men’s Group is for men with haemophilia or other bleeding disorders. The group recently came together to celebrate its 8th birthday.

Women's Group
The Women’s Group was revitalised in 2005. The group meets regularly over lunch, at spa days and picnics in the park. More information on the next planned event coming soon.

Youth Group
The Haemophilia Foundation Australia Youth Group is a group for young adults who either have a bleeding disorder themselves or who have a family member with haemophilia. Youth Group Victorian coordinator can be contacted via the HFV office.

Grandparents Group- was founded in January 2008, coordinated by Carol Ebert as a friendly, support for grandparents and extended family members to meet either for lunch or elsewhere for a chat. Contact HFV on 03 9555 7595 for further information.

Golf Group
This social groups tees off about 6 times a year. Watch this space for dates and venues in 2010.
