Sunday May 31st is the date for our annual ladies’ get together. Women with a bleeding disorder, mums, partners, siblings, carers – all welcome. Commencing at 10am, this therapeutic art session offers a great opportunity to decompress in an easy friendly environment, and also to meet and chat with other women from the bleeding disorders community.
This session will be hosted by HFV committee member, Nao Ikoma. Nao is a creative therapist of 7 years. She is a professional artist and her artwork featured on the cover of the 2025 Spring edition of HFV magazine ‘The Missing Factor’. Nao is a kinder teacher and she has two children with haemophilia.
A word from our therapeutic art instructor, Nao Ikoma:
“A gentle invitation to take a moment for yourself. A carer, organiser, supporter, manager, educator…Come and experience therapeutic art in a relaxed, nurturing space—no artistic skills needed. Together, we’ll explore the quiet possibilities of creative expression, held within a supportive and understanding community. We’ll close with an optional local stroll for coffee, a treat, and easy conversation.” – Nao Ikoma, HFV committee member
A light lunch / brunch will be provided by HFV during the session. Spaces are limited so bookings essential.
